Out of Georgia:

No sign of military withdrawal as Russian armour stays put
Russia tonight continued to occupy large swaths of Georgia in defiance of an EU-brokered ceasefire deal, with no sign of significant troop withdrawals. Despite claims by Moscow that a pullout had begun, Russian forces could be seen across most of the country, and Georgian officials claimed that armoured columns had tried to push further into the mountainous heartland, towards Borjomi in the south and Sachkhere in the west

Writes Mike Rivero, ”This delay in Russian withdrawal appears to be a tactical maneuver. The Russians will leave when it is advantageous for them to do so, and not one second before.

Georgians Fired [at] Russia’s Peacekeepers Point-Blank
Russia’s peacekeepers in South Ossetia were fired at short range, which confirms the intended-killing story, Major General Alexander Sorochkin, who heads the military investigating department, told Rossiyskaya Gazeta newspaper. The close view of a killed Russian soldier proved he had been fired at short range. “Two penetrating gun wounds were found. The first one wasn’t lethal, in the leg, the second – was in the head. Traces of explosive gas burns near the entry hall are the evidence of short-range firing,” Sorochin specified.

Sky News lies: Tskhinvali ruins used to smear RussiansFalsely claiming that Russians had flattened Gori by showing pictures of the aftermath of the shelling by Georgian Troops of Tskhinvali. The Sky Clip is preceded by a road sign that shows Gori and the Presenter says he is reporting from there BUT the footage is clearly the same footage that was shown two days previously in a report about Tskhinvali.

Writes M.R., ”What amazes me is that the controllers of the media still haven’t realized that the old methods of lies and propaganda no longer work. The internet gives humanity a collective memory and consciousness that exists outside governmental and corporate control, and the average life span of a media lie is measured with an egg timer these days.”

Biased broadcast? Moscow accuses U.S. TV of gagging victims’ stories
Moscow has accused an American TV network of bias after a channel broke off from a live interview with victims of Georgian violence in South Ossetia. A 12 year old girl and her aunt were describing how Russian soldiers saved them from the Georgian attack – but were bizarrely cut off after just two minutes.

BBC Video Proves Georgia to Blame for Hostilities
The BBC video here was aired two days before Russia intervened to stop Georgia’s ethnic cleansing operation in South Ossetia. It needs to be viewed by Bush, Condi, Robert Kagan, Charles Krauthammer, little Billy Kristol and all the neocons and their associated slavering bloggers and newspaper columnists calling for war against Russia, a nation bristling with thermonuclear weapons and an increasing desire to use the tactical variety of nukes against the United States, or rather its servile little clients such as Poland that are installing U.S. missile “defense systems” on Russia’s borders.
